Shaping your puppy personality

Our world is a whole new adventure for a puppy, so it is very important that you pay attention when you introduce and educate a puppy to familiarize themselves with a variety of sounds, places, people and animals. Your puppy will have a natural curiosity for everything, especially in their eyes. Your puppy will also find clues about the world from your behaviour. You will definitely need some patience puppy that your adapted to its new environment.

If you have an opportunity to raise a puppy dog from the hood, both of you will be able to begin your lifetime relationship back on track. Set up regular routines that includes positive reinforcement pattern from the beginning.

In contrast to folk wisdom, you can teach an old dog new tricks, but it is very difficult to break a long habit of life that started when they were puppy. For example, if you let your puppy sleep in bed with you every night, and then as they get older and you want to change this pattern, don't blame the dog for not understanding your change of mind.

While a new puppy can whine and cry after it was separated from his mother and litter and you would of course want to comfort them, just like you, your puppy is unique.

While human infants can take several years to develop various personality traits, many of your puppies adults doggie traits are formed during their first year. Therefore, it is a very important time for you to tune in your pups behaviour and shaping their socialization patterns puppy through education. You may want puppy to stay in the room, but in its own space and comfort them by petting.

Don't protect your puppy unnecessarily. Let them learn some things themselves. And please, please, don't let the dog become one of the "Hollywood wallet doggies".

Approach your puppies introduction to other dogs with caution. Be aware of the dog breeds that are known to be aggressive, including yours.

Learn the difference between your cute playful puppies and their defensive growling growling. When you play, your puppy can begin to chew on your hand or fingers and growl. Do not confuse this puppy when he growls to the family or friends. You need to immediately tell them that this is a "no". Take responsibility, puppy show you are in control, let them know that this is wrong, then gently and quietly introduce them to the person, so that they can become comfortable and familiar with them.

Keep in mind that defensive growling could lead to attack bites, and that's something that you don't want to happen, if there are extenuating circumstances.

Another important issue is whether you have a baby, starting to create a bond between the dog and child. Be very careful puppy is allowed to smell the baby, so that they can both gradually get used to each other's presence. If your puppy growls at baby, nip this in the bud right away. Your puppy does not understand that it is your family, but it is the dominant "I greater dog" mode. Of course, in most cases the dog tunes up how important this baby is that you, the master and it all falls into place.

Dogs are by their very nature, social animals and love to be part of a group, which is why they generally fits very well into family arrangements. But they also sometimes need your assurance to feel secure about their place in the family.

Remember that your puppy also is your friend, they should never understand that they are your equal. Even if you don't want to raise your puppy to become an indulgent adult dog, you need to understand that they to be not dominant. When your puppy grows and evolves, you will teach them to serve your praise and attention by you.

To customize a new puppy to your home, while not as dramatic as to conduct a new baby to your home, demanding that take on a new level of responsibility. Puppies will require and take a lot of your attention. They require House Education. You have to teach them how and what to eat and what not to eat. They need a reliable and regulated schema that includes a regular feeding time, exercise, obedience lessons with a reward, and bonding activities.

Dogs and puppies in particular really want to please you. Understand that they are easy to train.

It is pretty much up to you to shape your personality and the socialization of puppies. All you have to do is pay attention. Done correctly, your new friend will bring much joy and friendship relationships in your life.
